Steps to Flash
Download and Extract Firmware Package:
- Download the Infinix X1000 firmware package from a trusted source like Firmware File (Firmware File).
- Extract the downloaded package on your computer. This should give you a folder containing the firmware file, SP Flash Tool, USB Drivers, and a flashing guide.
Install USB Drivers:
- Install the provided USB drivers from the firmware package. If the drivers are already installed, you can skip this step.
Prepare SP Flash Tool:
- Extract the SP Flash Tool from the firmware package.
- Open the extracted folder and run
flash_tool.exe.
Load the Scatter File:
- In SP Flash Tool, click on the "Download" tab.
- Click on the "Choose" button in the "Scatter-loading File" section.
- Navigate to the extracted firmware folder and select the scatter file (usually named something like
MT6589_Android_scatter.txt).
Flash the Firmware:
- Ensure "Download Only" is selected in SP Flash Tool.
- Click on the "Download" button in SP Flash Tool.
- Turn off your Infinix X1000 and remove the battery if it is removable.
- Connect your phone to the PC using the USB cable while holding the Volume Down or Volume Up button to help the PC detect the device.
- The flashing process should start automatically. Wait for it to complete (you should see a green checkmark in SP Flash Tool once done).
Finish Up:
- Once the process is complete, disconnect your phone from the PC.
- If the battery was removed, reinsert it and turn on your phone.
