  5. Firmware/Stock ROM for Infinix X403: The official or custom ROM you want to flash.

Steps to Flash Infinix X403

Step 1: Download Necessary Files

  1. SP Flash Tool: Download SP Flash Tool
  2. MTK VCOM Drivers: Download MTK VCOM Drivers
  3. Infinix X403 Firmware: Ensure you download the correct firmware for your device model.

Step 2: Install MTK VCOM Drivers

  1. Extract the downloaded MTK VCOM Drivers.
  2. Open Device Manager on your PC.
  3. Click on "Action" > "Add legacy hardware".
  4. Click "Next" > Select "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)" > "Next".
  5. Select "Show All Devices" > "Have Disk".
  6. Browse to the folder where you extracted the MTK VCOM Drivers, select the .inf file, and install it.
  7. Complete the installation process and restart your PC.

Step 3: Prepare the SP Flash Tool

  1. Extract the downloaded SP Flash Tool.
  2. Open the SP Flash Tool folder and run "flash_tool.exe" as an administrator.
  3. Click on the "Scatter-loading" button and locate the scatter file in the firmware folder (it typically has a .txt extension).

Step 4: Flash the Firmware

  1. In SP Flash Tool, ensure "Download Only" is selected from the dropdown menu.
  2. Click the "Download" button.
  3. Turn off your Infinix X403.
  4. Connect your device to the PC via the USB cable.
  5. The flashing process should start automatically. If not, you may need to press a combination of volume buttons to get the PC to recognize the device.
  6. Wait for the process to complete; you should see a green checkmark indicating a successful flash.
